DeLonghi PAC W130E 13,000-BTU Eco-Friendly Portable Air Conditioner - How Does It Fare?
I once had a Sharp air conditioning unit. It was all cool and fine...no problems with the unit whatsoever until it broke down last month. Immediately, I searched for a replacement. This is when I encountered the DeLonghi PAC W130E 13,000-BTU Eco-Friendly Portable Air Conditioner which comes with an eco friendly refrigerant.
I don't know about you BUT I always loved DeLonghi products (air conditioner, coffee maker, etc.) for their stylish looks and that holds true for this unit.
My house has a metal roof together with vaulted ceilings. Needless to say, when things get hot, the upstairs get about 10 times hotter than the rest of the house. It's almost hell and that's where I sleep! I definitely need some extra comfort and cooling.
I'm glad to say that the DeLonghi PAC W130E 13,000-BTU Eco-Friendly Portable Air Conditioner did what it's supposed to. We turn it on during dinner time and go for the turbo function (this uses both water and air cooling system) to bring the temperature down. When we are ready for bed, we just have to turn it down to the Sleep Function - this is pretty quiet for an air conditioner. Not even once did I wake up in the wee hours of the night because of the unit's noise. 2 thumbs up in the noise level and performance department.
The other convenience features are also very much appreciated - the easy to read LCD display together with the super cooling features that uses the water tank. The latter helps in getting the temperature down very quickly. As for the weight and portability, it weighs around 130 pounds. A little heavy BUT the casters along with the built in handles help greatly in moving it around.
With a 24 hour timer, auto sleep function, turbo cooling, and other bells and whistles that an air conditioning unit must have, the DeLonghi PAC W130E 13,000-BTU Eco-Friendly Portable Air Conditioner is highly recommended!
